Adding badges to XJ700N

    So it would seem that this model is sort of the red headed stepchild in that it got no engine displacement badging on the battery covers like every other offering in the XJ family.

    Anyone ever remedy that?

    I’m half inclined to have the wife unit fire up the circuit and make me some

    I think it was intentional, so that you could blow away other bikes and then tell them it was the 400cc version. Keep 'em guessing. Little deuce coupe and all that...…….

    Definitely a sleeper.

    I was just putting the covers back on along with the chrome air box covers (after being off for 6 months) and thought it looked a little spartan compared to its siblings

    Yes, Remember the 300 Spartans! That's why you tell them it's a 400, and whoops then you suddenly remember the extra 300cc's...……..
