So I put these crazy looking long chromies that extend really far left and right from the bike, it looks like a spaceship or something.

started her, SO QUIET. took it for a ride, 1st mile was good, but then it got ugly quickly, struggle to get home. Had no power under 3500, actually it's a miracle I kept it running.

so I'm guessing my mixture is way off?

the new exhaust is so damn quiet I couldn't hear what the bike was doing to explain characteristics. I'm pretty sure there was a flat spot after 6500, and oh yeah, with the old open mufflers I didn't like going over 6000, sounded loose as a goose, but now it's askin for it! nice and tight feeling

lastly, LOTS of engine braking. Thanks for your thoughts

the mufflers are chokeing down. nothing you can do but take them back off. and take it for a test drive. youi'll probably find a big improvement.

your exhaust system is almost as much effect on the mixture as the intake system, but i guess you found that out :)

hope that does it sounds really strange i could see a little difference but not that much. hope you flow enough air up top to keep from burning exhaust gaskets and what ever else that might burn definately colortune again
