    :(

I was an original owner of a 1981 Seca 750. Until two weeks ago, it had only been down once, and that was about 25 years ago when my brother borrowed it without asking and fell pulling out of the driveway. Two weeks ago some idiot made a left turn two car lengths in front of me and the bike was totalled.

    A sad day.

Howerver, from the ashes, today I purchased a 2005 FZ1. My first Yamaha lasted 30 years so I guess will stick with them. I really loved my Seca, but MAN, what a ride. Smooth, fast, comfy. I was unsure how I would feel on a different bike, but now, I can't believe I waited so long.

Anyway, good luck to all you XJ guys, time for me to find the FZ formum!

Hopefully the only thing hurt is your pride, most people don't look for bikes, the rest don't even see them. What was the setup that produced the accident?
