aftermarket handlebars?

    I just bought my first bike, '83 xj 550 maxim. it needs rear tire, and a new battery. 2600 orig. miles. paid $450.

    where can i go for aftermarket parts? namely handlebars and seat? Ive been working on muscle cars for the last 10 years and this is my first venture into bikes, so im not totally inept.

    Ebay or oldbikebarn.com are gonna be your best options for stock parts. You can fit any style of handlebar to suit your desires. Quite a variety of seat mods on here as well. Sounds like a good price for the bike. Have fun with it.
