    Hello,

Some months ago i bought an aftermarket throttle lever.
Its a cnc made one like this :
    https://ibb.co/zWc6JJ5

Its already the second time my cable snaps. ( One new cable and one old one )

I modified a piece to fit the cable trough and to have the correct spacing.
    https://ibb.co/fSxCQ1g

I lubed the inside of the throttle grip thing.

Can someone point me in the right direction what i did wrong ?:p

It broke off close to the endpoint of the cable ( one time at the end and one time 5cm from the end)

It drove good , throttle reaction was fine, hadn't really slack .. So don't know whats the problem.
And i don't want to keep buying cables and have the chance off snapping one of whilst driving.

    Thanks in advance!

It seems to me that the throttle sleeve that you installed is the culprit. Look for burrs and sharp edges where the cable attaches to the throttle sleeve. A needle file will clean up any sharp edges that were left from the CNC process. Better yet have it media blasted to remove all of the sharp edges.

I think the ledge is the culprit.
Pretty sure the cable shouldn't touch and be sharply angled when rotating.

So the groove where the cable rolls around should be deeper

Well, that's my 2 cents worth at any rate!
