I’m converting from the stock left handlebar switch to a Woodcraft switch. I thought I had the wiring figured out for the turn signals but they are not working. I think it has to do with the yellow/red wire not being used. Anyone do this and figure it out?

the yellow / red wire is the one that triggers the self cancelling circuit in the flasher relay to initiate, by changing the handlebar switch to an aftermarket one ,you would loose the self cancelling feature, if thats not a problem for you, then it may be better for you to change the flasher relay to an electronic one of 2 or 3 wire type , and just use the brown feed wire from the fuse , and the brown / white wire that goes up to the handlebar switch.
depending upon which bike you have (o_O ? ) you may also need a ground wire on the relay

Thanks for the info. I’m going to do just as you say and do a new wiring loom for the turn signals and horn. Ironically I’m using pieces of an old loom out of a 1994 YZF750R that has a three wire relay.
