Do a google search for motorcycle headlight aiming, there are a few different specs for it., it seems, may be dependent on where you live.

I remember I tried a couple of different ones and settled on the best light spread....

I depends on the light; both of my Halogens gave the same basic spec.

I stuck masking tape on my garage door at the recommended height and measured the distance back in the driveway for the bike, also according to their specs. I think the distance back is more dependent on the type of light rather than the height.

I'll try to dig up the diagrams. It worked great, and my car headlight beams line up with the tape when I pull in, so it must be pretty universal...

 Okay, so I printed up some information for how to aim the light to the propper height. However, how do I use the two adjusting screws to change the height aspect. I have the large rectangular lamp with only 2 adjusting srews. One in the upper right quadrent and the other in the lower left hand quadrent. So if I adjust the top one it will change the angle of the lens to the left, and if I adjust only the bottom one it adjus to the right. What then is the combination that will allow me to go up and down???
