Alternator wiring !

    So some fool snipped the plug on my 1983 xj 650 maxim leaving me to wonder into lifes many mysterys of where the hell does what wire go where, theblock connector is still on the loom but not the alternator side , does it matter what wire goes where in the block connector and is it correct i should have 14volts on the battery at 1500 rpm

    Any order is ok, 14 at 1500 might be a touch high but still ok. Just so it's never over 14.8

    If you're asking about the three white wires, they can go to any terminal on the plug. No special order or location; all three are hot and positive.
