... whose moods easily change based on how it is going with the bikes?

Work on a bike and break stuff or ordered parts are delayed, I am not happy at all and my day is ruined.

Work on the bike and something works without issues or for the first time, I could hug the world.

    Super annoying...

    Guilty!
Not a motorcycle but, Toro riding mower with a Kohler CH20 HORIZONTAL engine. Stator went out, had to remove fly wheel, figured for sure the engine would need to be pulled. But before diving deep I did some wrenching and surprise, surprise, got the flywheel and stator off - did my happy dance.

Now, if only the thing goes back together as smoothly as it came apart . . . . .

    Si.
Couch derives from couche; to lie down, Old French (as does a rather naughty term for a certain lady-part (which is honestly the only reason why I know from where the noun couch comes from (yes thre is a story (no I won't tell it )))).

Sorry about the spanish. My bablefish is drunk.

Met a guy yesterday who has a vmax. Apparently it has good engine feedback (not to use the word "vibrates"). He told me his girlfriend likes to ride with him. A lot. :)

    Oh here is another one:
For every two hours I work on a bike, I spend one hour to clean up garage afterwards :)

And this is the clean version...

Here's the thing; cleaning is a waste of time. Just keep it organized and everything will be fine.

To the untrained eye my work bench appears to be a complete cluster mess - but I know where to find whatever I may need. Although I must admit I enjoy when I can spend some time actually cleaning it - that usually means, nothing is broken, there is an empty honey-do list and the day is mine! (Which usually calls for a long bike ride!)

Yes, always find the stuff I need but it's a pain to get bike off the table with all the crap lying around.
