"Considerable" is the only debatable part... Ask your local bike shop to work on your xj, and you have the answer.

While I was in the Black Hills this summer, I was informed by a member the Antique Motorcycle Club that my XJ550 will be considered an antique by their standards in another year.

Since I bought it new, as a young adult, what does that make me?

I shamelessly refer to myself as a big kid first...but only because my kids and my girlfriend will do it if I don't!

With all the bikes I've built, I must already belong to 2 or 3 dozen different forums/groups/clubs and there are literally hundreds out there already so Good luck with your group!
