any parts of a 2000 r6 motor fit on my 650 ?

    hey guys i got a 2000 r6 motor off a mate for free , they blew the clutch up when it was in a buggy. and i was wondering if u guys know of any parts that will fit on my xj650 ? i only have the motor not the whole bike ;)

    I doubt that any of it is going to work without some serious modification. Totally different motor design. Carbs would require custom made intake manifolds, and IIRC, they're not any larger than our stock carbs, and I'm not sure that our motors would require a larger carb anyway. How bout pulling your motor, making some custom mounts, converting to a chain drive swingarm, and having an R6 powered XJ? :D Now that would definetly be something out-of-the-ordinary... 8O 8)

    yeah an R6 xj now that sounds dangerous , lol. hmm stock brakes and handling with 100hp hmm :roll: but i guess ill just try to part the motor out to get a few dollars.
