I just picked up a 2000 GSX600F. I have never had anything to do with these before. Anyone have any experience with them? Anything specific to watch for with this model?

The bike has a few minor scrapes, looks like it's been dropped in the driveway but not laid down. Someone cut the rear fender short(bobbed it off even with the cowl) so there's no license plate mount. There is a bracket up under the rear cowling that looks like it will work for a plate mounting point.

This will give me something to ride while I put some much overdue labor into the carbs on my Seca.

My son has a 93 - or 4 Katana he bought from his older brother. It is a pretty nice bike. It is very fast and handles nice at speed but is a dog when attempting to maneuver in a crowded area (don't try to take your motorcycle license test on it).

No major issues. Fun bike to ride.

    Best wishes.
