Anyone else notice patterns on eBay?

I can't help myself from watching every Seca that comes up on eBay. After a year of this, I've noticed that there are interested patterns. I'm sure it's coincidental, but interesting nonetheless.

For example. Right now, there are 3 750 Seca on eBay. No others. A couple of weeks ago, there were several Turbo Secas. At one point there were several 900s. Often there are only a gaggle of Seca IIs. A few months ago, there were a bunch of 550s on at one time. The one thing I don't seem to ever see is several regular old 650s on there.

I'm sure this means nothing, but I thought it was an interesting observation.

Not being a Maxim guy, I'm curious. Are there similar patterns for Maxims? Do a bunch of Maxim Xs all show up at one time, etc?

Don't know about patterns, but I'm fed up bidding against salvage dealers so I'm going to bail out of e-bay when the next thing I've bought arrives

    if it arrives..

Legensc (dude from Colorado) said they sent me my gasket kit, but it has been 2 weeks and I still haven't received it and they said they will do nothing about it until 30 days has lapsed (signifies it is officially lost in the mail I guess). Then they will refund or send another one. They can keep it now as I found the gaskets I needed locally in a miraculous stroke of luck.

so don't buy from them....they are shady.

That's great! One less bidder to worry about! If it weren't for eBay, I don't know how I would be able to put my "new" bike back together. There have been several turbos being parted out lately and I've scored some very good parts unique to the turbo model.
I've been on eBay for many years now, and have had 99.8 percent good transactions. I love it! Amazing what folks have been hanging on to for decades just to sell 'em to me!
