That could do me a huge favor?

I found a Virago rolling chassis on the bay that i would like to use for the spoked wheels on my Seca, but it is only 945 miles away from me, and it would have to be picked up in a week. I'm not sure if I could get down there that fast. So, basically, what I am hoping for, is if someone could pick it up for me and hold it for a couple weeks. (It will be less than a month, and may only be a couple days) I would buy dinner for you, buy you a case of your favorite frosty beverage, etc. And be eternally grateful. (Awww)

Yeah, if I was within 8 hours one way, I would have already made the deal. I just want to keep my options open. I will probably stip the bike down when I pick it up, and toss it in the back of my Saturn wagon. Don't laugh, 30 MpG Vs 15 makes a big difference, and I know it will fit in pieces.

hey whatever u wanna do i wouldnt laugh cause u wanna strip it down its your bike your time and money and your deal. why would i bother to even think about that? anyway you should try and locate dave schmitt as he lives close to there. i live 3 hours away and there are significant expenses for me to even think aobut attempting this for you. if i were closer maybe so but dotn wanna transport your bike in my truck and something happen to it.

I'm still tossing it around. I really want spokes on my Seca, but I would still need to relace the rear to get an 1n 18 incher on the back. (this one has a 15) I like this, because it has all the parts I would need for the conversion and it is initially cheap. however, even at 30 MpG, I'm looking at around $300 total once gas is included. If I could find a way to take my GF with, or find some adventure on the trip, it would all be worth the extra coin. I also feel bad about Dave having to drive two hours to pick the pile up, since he has never met me. Decisions, decisions...

Joshua, that was way profound and strung together really well. Greatly appreciated.

    Cooter,
Well if it's adventure you want, you would be coming to Inverness the home of the "Cooter Festival" and passing through Ocala Fl. You could always strip down and ride naked, it seems to be popular here in Ocala area, to see the cooters, !

This guy might be up for a ride:
