I'm heading over to pick up a rack of CB750 carbs for $20, slide carbs seem to be easier to tune with pods. I know I'll probaly have to fab up a manifold. JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE HERE HAS DONE THIS YET?

I haven't tried it myself but I have thought from time to time about trying it myself. These Hitachi carbs on my 81' 750 Seca R I am not to impressed with . Keep us informed as to how your idea works out for you. Personally I never had problems with my Honda CB carbs in the past. I will be working on my carbs this winter since that is about the only time I can find any spare time to work on my bike. Sooner or later I have to go visit a couple of salvage yards for parts and maybe I will pic up some Honda carbs to try myself. Take care for now, grunt 007, 81' XJ 750 Yamaha Seca R, Mi.
