Ape Hanger Cable Sizing

    Hey all,

    First post to this site and I have to say, I've been looking at this site extensively for months now.

    My question is, who has put ape hangers on an XJ700? What would would be an estimate of the tallest handlebars you could do without swapping the cables/wires.

    I've been building on my XJ for around 2 months and she is coming along. Pics on the way.

    Without swapping cables.....maybe 2" more rise if you are careful with routing.

    Thanks for the reply. If I do decide to get taller than that, where would a guy start to look for longer cables that fit the XJ?
