Can I put a non-yics jugs and pistons and head on a yics bottom end?
Also, can I do this without removing the engine from the frame?

Answer is yes it can be swapped, but not without removing the engine. Check out my videos,
I just put a YICS head, barrels and crank onto a non YICS engine. So reverse to your plan.

You can do that swap with the engine in situ.
    The bottom ends are identical.
