    Hello everyone, I'm Demir, from Arizona and I'm new to this forum...I just bought an 82 XJ 400. After 4 months of a thorough search for the perfect first bike, I think I made a good choice :)

    It's been about 2 weeks and I love it so far. I'm looking to learn and share a lot of info. about the maxims. I have a lot to learn....

    Don't have any pictures, but I'll post them as soon as I shoot some...

    You'll want to go thru the bike front to back looking for missing/wrong bolts, cotter pins, proper lube and adjustments on control cables, brake fluid flush, rear brake delam check, tire date code, on and on.
