i got my wheels balanced today for my bike and gave the collar with the wheel and now it's missing so either they lost it or it fell out on transport but im going to call the shop tomorrow and was wondering if they do not find it if there's a way to makeshift a temporary one that would be safe or if that's a bad idea all around

There is almost always a collar, or complete axleshaft available on ebay if the shop does not have it.

i'm almost certain the shop forgot to give it back with the wheel.. i have searched so many times just today for it in my garage and everything so i'm 90% sure they have it in their shop still and just forgot to give it back with it. trying to get this bike going seems like such a hassle anymore
