My flasher relay went bad and was popping my signal fuse. I replaced the relay with a generic 3 pin flasher relay from an automotive store, and now my flashers don't work at all. Do these bikes need a specific relay, or could something else have gone wrong with the circuit?

If memory serves, you have to swap 2 of the three wires to use a generic relay.

Thanks, that could easily explain it. I guess I'll just leave it alone while I convert the signals to LED.

    Thanks

There is a thread in the FAQ suggestions (I think its there anyway, I could be wrong about location) that has the pinout and suggested wire swapping listed. You might want to take a peek before too long.
