    Ha! I'll take it as one... I just wish he had covered up the license plate. Oh well. My fault for putting the picture out like that in the first place.

    The last photo is a bike I found many pictures of and is in my "ideas for the bike" folder. Love the rear wheel conversion.

    He doesn't say if the bike runs. If it does, $800 seems good to me, but haggle lower if you can of course. If it doesn't run, start asking about compression, etc, and don't go over $650. I've read before that $1 per CC is the cap for busted bikes. $300 seems to be an average low for a parts bike that has all the parts. By all means, don't take my word as the final word.

    Yeah. My guess is he looked up XJ bobber and pulled pictures he liked, but isn't familiar enough with the bike yet to recognize that wasn't an XJ. An early, low cc XS perhaps? Have I gotten good enough to recognize the engines now?

    That #6 photo looks like an sr500 thumper they are dry sump
