So i've switched for some chrome clubman bars and I bought some bar end mirrors and the grips I ordered were just some cheapies from China...
    http://www.ebay.ca/itm/7-8-MOTORCYC...251692524067?var=&hash=item3a9a0b2223&vxp=mtr

So obviously I wasn't expecting much and yeah they ripped but where i'm confused with is how I should go about putting a new pair on with my bar end mirrors.

I'm looking at a pair of these http://www.canadasmotorcycle.ca/bikemaster-revolver-bar-end-grips.html
better quality and of course everything I bought was 7/8". The throttle side is where I'm running into some trouble... the plastic throttle tube has those 4 little ridges that seem to interfere with sliding the grips on with ease. What do you guys usually do?

For the mirrors themselves I bought these http://www.ebay.ca/itm/3-Round-7-8-...Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a7f53254e&vxp=mtr

they seem to be pretty good quality and what I did was removed the screw from the grips and then screwed the mirrors in... was I right to do this?

warm the new grip up with a heat gun or hairdryer , not too hot mind, this will soften the rubber so you can slide it on.
    "4 little ridges" ??

er, no , put the grips on first , then the mirrors.

You need to cut the four locating tabs off of the end of the throttle tube. They are only there to secure the original factory grip and will not work with an aftermarket grip.

You do not want to secure the bar end mirrors to the grips. They need to be secured to the inside of the bars with the provided hardware, and there has to be enough clearance for the throttle tube and grip to rotate freely. You do not want your throttle side mirror to turn as you use the throttle, nor do you want the throttle tube to bind and cause the throttle to stick.
