I've got some parts that just got powder coated, however the threads and some other parts weren't coated so they could still be usable. Any good advice on keeping those bare metal parts from rusting?

Depends on the parts. Keep them clean and waxed is one way or clear coat if practical

well, for threads in particular, just keep some anti-seize on them. Unless they're something you are afraid of backing off from vibration, then locktite them, either will keep them from rusting. If you use locktite, just use a little anti-seize on the exposed threads that come out of the other end of the nut (if applicable).

I wouldn't clear coat the threads. More than once, I've been unable to get a bolt in a nut due to clear coat. Even messed up threads permanently once. I'd stick to thin coat of wax or loctite or anti-seize.
