i decided awhile back since i was fixing the bike up i'd change colors. my neighbor across the street does some fairly good work doing flames so i made a deal i'd make him a turquoise and silver ring and he'd do a layout i made up for the tank with flames and put flames on the front fender and clear coat every thing.

what did you have to do in order to paint the chromed fender? does it need to be stripped or did he just sandblast it?

yeah i guess we do lol. i put all the black on it. i sanded all the chrome with 220gt then hit that with gray filer primer 3 coats sanded that shot 3 coats of black sanded that then he did his painting and clearcoated. i think the sand blasting would have been better idea but i don't have a cabinet to do it.
