I saw this posed in the shout out box but not sure how that works. I don't get to use the forums a whole lot.

I do not have the original battery sensor for my 82 seca 750. When i start it i just ignore the red light and shut it off after everything else checks out.

Is there a way to bypass this sensor or where can a person find a replacement one?

You should check out my gallery, there is a diagram there. It is a rough draft, but there are a few more diagrams out there you can look at. Check out the search link at the top of the page, your bound to find more details and a few folks who have done the bypass. Best of luck!

I just soldered in a 2K resistor between the battery and the sensor wire.

It may not be the right way, but back in the early ninety's, there wasn't that much information about bypassing them. It just so happens that the first resistor I tried turned the light out, and I called it good to go.

Mine bothered me for about a month, I simply added water to the battery, problem solved.
