    battery not charging i have 81 xj750 seca any helh plz.

    you need a multimeter (they're not expensive). test the voltage at the battery terminals ,without the engine running- should be 12v to 12.5v
    then with the engine running above 3000rpm should be around 14.5
    try that first then we can help further
