The HCP17542 Aftermarket valve cover pressure washer INSTALLATION TOOL for $1.95 is awesome!
I am adjusting the valves/replacing shims on my new to me 1982 Seca 550 and am replacing the valve cover gasket and the rubber doughnuts per members recommendations.
The doughnuts just slipped right on. I highly recommend it!

The bike was neglected, but ran. I am doing all the usual things tires, brakes, Caliper, Master Cylinder, chain, adjusting valves, timing chain,
new oil/filter added European Bars, new grips, bar end mirrors, Led lights etc etc. etc.
I also painted the tank, fender, piece behind the seat and side covers
British Racing Green. (1970s MGB Hyland Green)

I still have some work to finish, but I hope to have pictures up soon!
Thank you all for your help. Could not have done it with out the people on this Forum.

Maybe you just left it out of the list but if you replaced the drive chain replace both sprockets too. And the brake LINES also need to be replaced; cam chain should only need adjusting unless the bike has a really lot of miles on it.
