I sure thought so. It's amazing what you can stumble across with a little patience and perseverance.

It would be a good thing if you'd put the bike year and model in your signature. Just go back to your profile and enter the informations so anyone can see them on every post you send here.

Nice find! just dont forget, cause it's cosmetically nice, and looks all original..... check out your tires, brake lines, brakes, rear brakes, etc.

Yeah I think I'll keep that horseshoe! Lol I actually found it on Craigslist a guy had it listed as a 750 suzuki. No other info. It was in his metal garden shed buried under a load of stuff. I asked for a pic and the best one he could get was just the top of the tank. I went and looked at it after work he had it dug out and parked behind his brothers house. Turns out his brother gave it to him to sell for money for a bus ticket to get back to Florida for Christmas. I jumped all over it for 200 it had been setting since 06.

I have checked the valve clearances cleaned the carbs new tires new brakes front and back including rebuilt calipers and master cylinder and brake lines. Also new fork seals petcock rebuild kit and I had to derust the tank. New plugs voltage regulator and battery. Of course oil change. Anything else you can think of I would appreciate it. It runs and drives great. Already got it titled now just waiting on some decent weather so I can get it inspected and licensed.

Nice find! I paid 150 for the same bike, but mine came with an engine full of water and sludge. So jokes on you, I got more for less!

Yeah that's what I figured even if the engine was toast or something bad I could part it out and make alot more than I paid for it

I read your post on the water in the engine. That's too bad that people just let stuff like that happen. I don't think you got hurt any from what I've seen if worse comes to worse you can make money by parting it if you have to
