bike won't start

    I know it's a starter problem since power goes through the bike just fine, horn works etc.

    I put on clubman bars, they're the 30$ bikemaster ones you can find on Canada motorcycle and they're chrome... I've heard the starter uses the bars as a ground so I'm thinking that's it but I'm not sure where it grounds exactly?

    I also broke the clutch safety switch but as I understand that shouldn't stop me from starting the bike in neutral

    I've put my old bars back on and still nothing. Not sure if it matters but I didn't have grips on the bars just the clutch safety switch housing and the starter/kill switch on


    EDIT: Just checked the fuse box, had a fuse that wasn't quite in right.. Pushed it in and got spark, time to put the clubman's back on

    do you mean that the starter does'nt spin , or it spins but engine dose'nt start.
    did you "pinch" any of the wires on the r/h switch, starter or kill switch.
