blowing gas from #3-4 carbs.

    Hi Guys. I have just rebuilt the bottom end on my 81 Saca all is fine except gas blowing out 3+4 carbs, any ideas ?.

    blowing from the carbs? are you running it without the air box and boots?

    I think I may have a bent valve.

    Why do you think you have a bent valve?

    What exactly do you mean by blowing gas out of the carbs?

    Does your crankcase smell of fuel? Is the oil level too high?

    I took the the valve cover off and turned the motor over and the valve / shim stayed in the down position.
