Had one more than 30 years ago, but I had to sell it to pay tuition. It needed tires, a tune up, and insurance.. and it added up to more than I had as a student. My interest in motorcycles was renewed by a friend that bought his first one. Heck I got a license.. I can get one too. Found an 82 Turbo, second owner, 18,000km.

Fixed a few things: I rebuilt the carbs, replaced the fork o-rings, clutch lever etc.

I went for a ride and must admit.. I was nervous as hell on my first ride. I haven't driven a motorcycle in 30 years. But it was awesome! I forgot how fun it is. Now I'm looking at the parts bike thinking I could make that one run too.

You are the official Turbo hoarder!
I'll bet @hogfiddles doesn't have that many Turbos.

Hopefully not for long. I picked up 3 parts bikes all at once instead of little bits at a time.

I think it makes sense to put together only one and unload the rest.

I used to be 60 (quite awhile ago now) and ride a Turbo. Are we starting a new club?

The old grey hair seca club? Nah that sucks how about the silver riders? Truth be told i have hair and its still brown so maybe the wonky back seca riders or dont install a metal roof on a rainy day and slide off the roof club? I will work on it.
