I've read that properly bleeding the brakes can be strenuous at times. I was at Advance Auto yesterday. As I pulled in I seen a sign in the window, "loaner tool sets". Naturally, I inquired.

They offer a vacuum bleeder set for a refundable $60 deposit. Should work right?

Hopefully it works for me. I've got the parts, minus my SS lines, to rebuild the MC and caliper but its good to know it is available. Perhaps some of you will be able to take advantage of the offer as well!

Ya most of the auto stores have loaners. Its to cut down on people buying a specialty tool using it and returning it. My older brother was an expert at that. I on the other hand, buy every special tool I need as I work away on my projects. You never know when it will be needed again!

I'm looking for a tool that will pump the brake fluid in from the bleeder nipple. To me it makes more sense to push the air up and out as that is the natural path air wants to take. Trying to force it down and out seems to be going against the natural flow of things.

I could have sworn I saw something where an individual hacked together such a device using a squeeze-lever oil can. At the same time, someone else is using a turkey baster to keep the master cylinder from overflowing.

Why, has the law of gravity been repealed?

Well it worked I pumped oil into the brakes and up into the M/C. Then I proceeded to bleed the brakes in the normal fashion and the air that was left in the lines was gone in 15 min.
