Well I took my head light bucket off to paint it black last night. This morning I put it all back together. And now once my ignition is turned on my brake light wont activate using my front brake lever(but it works when the bike is turned off). My rear brake works fine though. But it only lights up the left light bulb(note rear brake does not light up when ignition is off,and when off front lights up both bulbs). What the holy crap is going on with my wiring system  . Now keep in mind I have spliced the rear wires to make it a dual bulb system to accommodate the 98 gsxr taillight. And the day before I took all apart I was told I had a brake light out, so maybe I have had this prob for awhile now. HELP please 8O

I'm aware of two connectors in the headlight bucket that can be crossed, make sure that they aren't. Otherwise, I've not a clue, especially if you have spliced in something non-stock.

Yay, a happy ending! New bulb and back in business. I've used a permanent type marker, like a Sharpie, to mark connectors, might be a good idea for you to try out.
