I REALLY wanted the EBC pro-lite floaters, but they aren't made to fit the X
I can't work a good deal on the solid ones.

I have three warped rotors. Only slightly warped, but I think it causes a wobble when I'm taking a high speed sweeper...and I do NOT like it! That's the last place I want to feel unstable.
My existing one drags for about 20% of the wheel rotation and I wouldn't complain about a little more stopping power either.

    I came accross these

They look at bit TOO radical for a 25 year old bike, but the price is right.
    Anyone have any experience?

Those rotors look cool, but you are right they won't look to good on the X. Have you asked Chacal, he would know if they are aftermarket ones available. Keep looking on EBAY maybe a OEM set will pop up.

I'm sure I have an OEM that is straight...I just wanted to upgrade a bit while I'm doing it and everything I have is USED and grooved a bit etc.

The EBC rotors are less "radical"

And $80 each isn't horrible if it improves the braking feel and runs smooth.

You may want to contact the seller and see if they have an actual pix/dimensions of the actual rotor..........many eBay images are "stock" images of a "typical" rotor.........the 267mm/5mm specs are okay for a XJ700 model, but there would need to be both a left and right side version available for front discs (note that is listed as a rear rotor, which would make it a right side front rotor).

    Hey Len,

I know I am SUPPOSED to have a "right side" and "left side" but I just wanted to confirm that I THINK the only difference would be which side the counter-sink is located for bolts. The stock rotors are not countersunk at all making them ambidextrious (sp)...SO, if I was to use a right side EBC on the left side of the bike and put the countersink toward the wheel, and use the stock bolts...it SHOULD fit, no?

You may be correct Mr. Mike......as long as those aftermarket rotors themselves aren't "directional", meaning that the way in which the grooves are cut "directionally" don't channel cooling away away from the pads, rather than towards them.........

    Hey Mike!
Ever get your answer on these rotors?? I find myself in a position where my right rotor is now starting to bind and squeaks constantly.... Looking to replace rotors, upgrade, and get a good deal

Chris; Rotors don't bind, calipers do. If you have a brake hanging up, it's NOT the rotor's fault.

Maybe the wrong choice of words.
With the tire off the ground, I spin it, and it hangs up in one spot. Right rotor, catching the outside brake pad

COULD be an out-of-true rotor (you need to measure the "runout" and see if it's within spec;) if it's IN spec runout-wise, then you have a caliper hanging up, like I said.
