    Ok Guys

Yesterday I road the bike to work, it rained all day and went to start it after work no joy, I mean motor rotates, it makes no difference with the choke on or off...so I'm thinking enrichment curcuit blocked because when I have it running the revs don't go up when I give it more choke.

I then bump started it and idled and ran fine home!

    Whens it warm its fine

    any ideas

    Daz

Sounds like you hit the nail on the head. I'd check the enrichment well passages in the bowls. They are notorious for plugging up. Also make sure that the choke cable is operating properly, and actually moving the enrichment linkages on the carbs.

Do you find that the bike usually starts immediately after you release the starter button?

If so a possible cause for your no start today could be weak spark. The starter sucks up lots of juice sometimes not leaving enough for a nice spark.

Just for grins, here's something you can check.

I had a problem with hard starting a while back; turned out I had a bad coil. Ohm out the primary and secondary windings and see if they're still in spec or not.
