So, I'm out playing with my bike, and I start to lube the cable. Got my cable lube tool, and spray bottle of cable luber. Do the throttle, brake, choke. All is well. On to the clutch. Squirt, squirt.... fizzzzzzzzz back out the pressure comes.

I can't get the lube to go down the clutch cable. I disconnected at both ends, pulled real hard on the bottom, and got more cable to pop out. And I see some goopy rusty stuff on the cable where I yanked it out good.

So, how do I get some lube in there to clear this up?

Goopy rusty stuff? Zounds! You could use carb cleaner to clear it but I think that it would be a temporary fix (6 days, 6 months, 2 years, who knows). Rust in the cable housing is a sign to start saving up for a new clutch cable. I would drop the end with the most crud into a small container of some brake/carb cleaner or even WD40. You mentioned you muscled the cable out a bit, well your going to have to muscle it in and out a few more times while it is immersed. Do this untill you have free movement, otherwise, replace it. You do not want a sticking clutch cable! Hope you can save it!

Better luck today! I tried WD40 first on the cable, came out the other end. So I then used the cable luber on it, with much better results. Cable is now lubed!

Definetaly working better now. But first on the list now, is a valve clearance adjust, followed by a carb sync, and exhaust.
