Find a tool dealer in your are and have them ship it off to whoever they us to calibrate it. Thats what I do. Snap On, Mac. Matco. they all do it. Or ask them where they send them to. Best advice I can give. Have a good one.

this would be more of a check than a calibration, but it'll get you some idea
    check a few different weights

Sears offers the service as well. I would suggest you hit the yellow pages in your area and look up calibration labs.

Easy thing to do. The torque wrench should have a adjuster nut at the end. To check, set the wrench for whatever weight you have. I used a ten lbs. dumbell weight suspended with wire. Measure exactly 12 inches from the center of the drive. The 3/8 or 1/2 drive that the sockets attach to. Got the idea? One foot pound is one pound at one foot. 10 ft lbs. is ten pounds at one foot. I attached a 14mm socket to the wrench and let it hang horizontally on my brake caliper bolt. I attached the weight and adjusted the adjuster nut until I got exactly 10 lbs at 12 inches. If I moved it to 12.5 inches it would click and if I move it to 11.5 it wouldn't. It clicked right at 12 inches.
When checking, if the weight clicks the wrench right at the 12 inch mark then slide the weight up the handle and see if it clicks at 11 inches. If it still does then the wrench is applying too little force. If you have to move it out past 12 inches to get the wrench to click it is applying too much force and could over torque a bolt until it breaks. IF the wrench doesn't click at all then the pivot piece has rotated. Typical problem resulting from keeping the torque setting too loose. In that case sending it to Sears is a good idea. I took mine apart and fixed it with the help a web site. Here is the link...http://tmack.net/~tmack/twrench/
Here you will see that the wrench works by applying force on a spring. So if it clicks too soon add force to the spring and vise versa.
