Hey, does anyone know what the specs are on the caliper bleeder screws of an 82 XJ750? I've found a few links that imply the front caliper uses 8mmx1.25, but nothing about the rear caliper. Not sure if it's the same, but I know 7mmx1 is also common.

I'm looking to get some Speed Bleeders... just installed them on my car and they're fantastic.

No bleed screw in the rear. It's an expanding shoe (drum) brake that is actuated by a rod. No hydrualics

Check your rear shoes for delamination, see below \/
Tighten the nut on the rod to get rid of excess travel.

Ooooh, I should maybe look at things before asking questions. That makes sense now that I think about how the brake pedal is shaped... thanks!

Does 8mm x 1.25 sound right for the front?
