    I understand that it has a can in it I was wondering if their was a bigger one with a little bigger lobs the stock one is bada!! But I would mind a little more bigger cam thanks yankeered

    The size of the lobes has nothing to do with power production. It's the shape that matters, and Yamaha did an amazing job of getting the shapes right for maximum power production in a sreet-friendly package. You can have cams ground ($$$), but if your only goal is more power you will not like the results (crappy ride-ability at part-throttle).

    Your 700 Maxim has the same cam grind as the 750 Seca RL, and that was the hottest cam Yamaha offered.

    In terms of HP per CC from a normally asperated engine, you already have one of the best of the era as-is. If you want more, a cam isn't going to get you there.
