or do i need to buy them online or at a yamaha dealer. i see one i can grab online at about 10 bucks with free shipping, but is this a pretty universal item i can get at the local autostore anyway?

i know i can just check tomorrow, but hoping one of you guys can give me a quick heads up tonight since the store is a bit out of my way. thanks!

If you're talking about the bolt that holds the filter housing on, it is a special bolt.
It's not just a bolt, it has passages and a pressure relief valve IIRC.
The auto parts store won't carry it.

Get the 3rd part one with a larger head while you're at it....
