    I've been getting some good buying advice on the general discussion forum and as this bike is probably beyond my capabilities I thought I'd post it here just in case anyone else might be interested. It seems like an incredible bargain for someone who can fix it up. At least it's shaft drive and has the same wheels as XJ's from same year! :^)

    Looks like a nice bike, but the sitting for 6 years concerns me deeply. The carbs will need rebuilt. It will need a battery and god knows what else. He says 'Engine in great shape.' If it hasn't been run in 6 years, how does he know?

    I think this bike might be more work than the Maxim you were looking at.
