I have to change one carb boot gasket, so I thought I'd change them all. Is it cheaper to buy the gaskets or cut them myself? I can get a roll of several feet for $16, but I haven't had time to check for the price of the gaskets.

    Thanks.

I had one bad gasket and simply cut one to fit. Works fine.

Gotta agree with takbaka45.. cutting gaskets is cheaper than buying them. Take your time and do a good job and you won't regret it.

Len @ xj4ever has die cut OEM gaskets that actually swell a bit when fuel gets on them creating a better seal than cutting gasket paper ones. But it's all about who has more time than money.
Just as a side note, if you get the original intake manifold bolts out without breaking them. Get new bolts, Yamaha original ones are cheap soft bolts that like to break.
