I NEED HELP ! ! ! ....please.....I have acquired 3 sets of carbs theoretically from 1981 & 1982 Yamaha XJ650's....they all look the same as what I have in my bike but have different Product Numbers on the bottom of the float bowls & different jet sizes in them .

Could you help me identify what's what so I can possibly attempt creating ONE set of reasonably good functioning carbs ? I don't want the bike to do cartwheels , just start up & go with some consistency.

    These are the stats:

    HSC32-3B 5N9 00 1605......jets inside: 112 & 43

    HSC32-12A 5H2-01 11215....jets inside: 120 & 41

    HSC32-1B 5N8-1B 1X15 ...Jets inside : 110 & 40

Any help & direction you could send my way would be HUGELY APPRECIATED.......THANKS FOR YOUR TIME & EFFORTS

    Vic F

Going by th ejets the third set with a 110 main and a 40 pilost is a stock 650 setup. The 112 main and 43 pilot would work well also if you installed a K&N air filter. The 120 main and 41 pilot is for a 750.
