Anyone know if it makes a difference on the carb slider springs if they are different lengths? :? After pulling my carbs off today I found the #4 carb slider spring was shorter than the other 3 by about 1/2 inch. I stretched this out to match the others. Is there a "correct" length for these? :?: :?:

DONT stretch the spring. That will ruin it's spring rate. It fatigues it and doesn't allow the spring to tension and de-tension properly.

They should be the same length or your response time on the sliders will be different as the shorter one will have a softer preload. I would replace that spring.
