    Parts List:
    1. Threaded rod : 3/8" and 3ft long piece. Cut mine to 9"

    2. Nuts (10) 3/8"

    3. Washers (4)

    4. L shape bracket and original carb bracket to hold carbs : 3/4" by 1/2" and 1/16 thickness
    Cut mine to 15" long.

    5. Base : U shape piece of aluminum or steel : I got my piece which was
laying around my friends house. It came from Sears but don't
know what it was used for. You want something that won't bend when
using the c clamp to hold it down. Cut mine to 15"

    6. One piece of wood (2 X 4) 5" tall

(Check the photo Description notes on how to use unit.)

    Re: Making a carb stand

Good idea; the only modification I might suggest would be to alter the design slightly to "engage" the carb rail rather than replace it so there isn't as much disassembly/assembly required to use it.

Pulling the rail also risks mis-aligning the butterfly shafts.

Sorry it took me so long to update. If been pretty busy at work.
I have updated photos and notes. In the photo below I'm thinking of cutting these areas out so the steel carb bracket will stay connected at all times to the carbs to keep carbs from being misaligned.

I like the stand. Its a nifty engineering solution.

Personally, I consider the float height job to be too small for such an effort of time to make a stand.

10-15 minutes on a flat surface with a block of wood for a leveling jack and its done.
