my 82 XJ 650 currently has a slight crack in the boot from the carb to the cylinder head, and i was looking to replace it, but i can't seem to find it online.

I read a post where someone had the same problem and this site was recommended

    http://www.jbmindustries.com/

    and then i stumbled upon

    http://www.jbmindustries.com/HOLDERS.html

Will that fit an XJ 650?

Your 650 uses Hitachi 32mm carbs, those boots are for 34 + 38mm Mikunis. No, they won't fit.

PM chacal or check on ebay

I got 4 brand new boots for my 750 from Chacal. He has, or can find anything you need.

It was like 240. You have to also get the gaskets and such separately. He will reply back to you with the latest and greatest for your bike. All but one of mine had cracks, and the no1 cylinder boot was so bad the end came off when I took off the carbs the last time. So I just got all 4 new.
