Carburetors cleaned

    For all of you that are cleaning your carburetors. If you strip them completely and clean every nook and cranny. Bench sync carefully and set idle mixture screws at 3 turns. This is what to expect.

    LISTEN.

    These carbs had a layer of varnish throughout that looked like the finish on a fine piece of furniture. For some strange reason though one jet was not plugged up.

    This is an 82 XJ650 with pods and some extra holes in the rear of the mufflers. Only adjustment made to the carbs is turning the idle screw up a bit, although it was successfully idling at about 700RPM.
