    I don't remember exactly when but I bought a couple of them several years ago, very useful!

    I mostly use it to secure a suitcase to my backrest for short distances.

    Here is what I have on my XJ700. Carries more than you think, and always a rain suit. I use the cargo net over it if I have additional stuff. This is a really well made bag, very useful, and it also looks good.

    I bought mine at good ol wally world for like 9$, metal hooks, rubber covered, and there's a good bit more than 4 on there

    They come in handy. I use the ones with the plastic hooks. I get about three seasons out of them before they wear out.

    I've had at least one of mine for close to 10 years if not more.
