    Hi All,

Thought I'd take apart my chain tensioner to make sure it was on the up and up - and noticed that it's face was a little worn down. The thing is, having never actually seen one of these things before, I have no idea what a new one looks like and if this one needs to be replaced. While I'm a big believer in replacing parts early if you've got them off the bike anyways - I don't really want to wait for this part to be ordered in if I don't have to.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

    Replace it?
    No. You don't have too.
    That's what it looks like.

It fits up against the inside of a curved Chain Guide.
Spray it with Carb Cleaner and steel wool the shaft until it shines.
Spray its housing superbly clean; too.

Make sure it doesn't bind in the housing bore.

Fantastic, thanks so much! One less part to order!
