The instructions in the service manual are easy enough to follow. One thing it doesn’t mention is opening the caliper piston(s) so the new pads will fit over the rotor? Any suggestions before I jump in? Also, any other helpful hints are always appreciated. Thanks Jay

Don't pump the brakes after the caliper is lifted off the rotor, it can be a pain getting the piston back in, I use a large C-Clamp and block of wood. Put the block in between the clamp and the caliper body, and use the clamp to push the piston back in, Don't push it to far though, just enough to get the new pads over the rotor.

    Hope it helps

When you push the piston in the fluid has to go somewhere, if you don't make allowances it'll come out the reservoir and make a mess.

You might want to put a hose on the bleed screw and into a container. Crack the bleed screw so you can catch the excess.

Or, if you've never changed the fluid you just might want to drain it and start fresh.
